Sam has spent more than 30 years as a senior adviser at the highest levels of Government, the private sector and the Royal Family. Most recently, Sam was Chief of Staff to the global CEO of Rio Tinto after serving as CEO of the Commonwealth Enterprise & Investment Council. Prior to this, Sam spend 18 years as a senior member of the Royal Household, first as Communications Secretary to the late HM Queen Elizabeth II and then as Deputy Private Secretary to Queen Elizabeth II.
