Natasha Latiff
International Human Rights Lawyer and Co-Founder of Where the Way Leads Fund

Natasha Latiff is a Singaporean international human rights lawyer and the co-founder of Where the Way Leads Fund, a fund focused on access to justice for survivors of war and violence. Her work began at the age of 17, when she travelled alone to Afghanistan during the height of the war. This marked the beginning of a two-decade journey working alongside Afghan lawyers on some of the country’s most serious human rights cases involving torture, forced displacement, persecution, and violence against women. Her work later extended across Kenya, Vanuatu, South Sudan, Pakistan and other fragile settings.
Through her organisations, she has represented survivors, led protection and evacuation efforts, and supported legal reforms that opened justice pathways for thousands of survivors. She founded the Gender Justice Accelerator Fellowship Program through her organisation, SAHR — the first program of its kind designed to accompany outstanding civil society leaders and mission-driven lawyers, working to strengthen women’s access to justice, particularly in response to sexual and gender-based violence.
Seeing firsthand both the importance and difficulty of this work, Natasha has co-founded a specialised fund, Where the Way Leads Fund to fund and support frontline leaders working on access to justice in the toughest of contexts.
Natasha is admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor in Singapore, and is a Young Global Leader of the World Economic Forum and a Leadership Fellow of the International Women’s Forum.
