Hugh Andrew, Managing Director, is the Head of Asset Management Asia Pacific for BlackRock’s Real Estate business and is based in Singapore.

Hugh has lived and worked in Asia for almost 30 years in a variety of roles within the Real Estate Industry. In 1991 he located to Hong Kong from London, in 2008 Hugh became the Chief Representative for Hongkong Land in India and in 2011 relocated to Singapore for his current role with BlackRock. Hugh is an Emeritus Fellow of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) and is the Secretary of The Junior Rugby Committee Singapore.

Hugh was educated at The Duke of York’s Royal Military Academy, Kent, United Kingdom and is currently studying at INSEAD. He is married to Mairisa and has 2 Children – Lily 17 and Angus 15. Hugh is a keen rugby union fan, junior coach and a qualified rugby union referee.
